Sometimes when you are working on your Windows PC or Laptop, you can find yourself in a situation where your browser text is the wrong size. You know you pressed something or clicked somewhere to cause this, but you aren't sure what happened. What's worse is you don't know how to get it back to normal. Click Below to see how!
Browsers have zoom in and zoom out settings. What they don't have is a typical drop-down menu so when this happens it is not obvious how to fix it.
Press and hold the CTRL-key. Press the - key to make the screen smaller and the = sign to make it larger. It may seem strange to you that you use the = sign instead of the + sign. After all, the minus sign makes it smaller, why wouldn't the + sign make it bigger? Technically, the + sign requires a shift and since the = sign is under the + sign on the keyboard, it became the standard to just use the = sign as the zoom in.
This trick actually works in many windows applications, not just web browsers.
